In creating this site, I intend to explore the world of lampwork beads. I will endeavor to remain uninfluenced by the opinions of others and by the blandishments of the makers and sellers of lampwork beads. For that reason, although I will mention lampwork artists by name, I will not link to individual lampwork artist sites. I may link to bead shows organizer’s sites as these will be a valuable resource for people looking to buy lampwork beads.
My sources are local bead shows, bead magazines and bead books. The magazines and books are bought by me and are not gifts by printers hoping for a mention.
I know this sounds like I am big stuff. I am not. This site may someday be big stuff, but I intend to remain behind the scenes and uninfluenced.

Pictures: All pictures on this site are of beads that I own. I will provide the name of the lampwork artist where I know it. I welcome corrections to names, and if I have misattributed a bead, please let me know.
My collection has been acquired mostly in Texas, and therefore my pictures will emphasize local artists more than nationally-known artists.
Lampwork Artists: If I do not have the attribution for a bead pictured on this site correct and you made it, please let me know so I can correct the information. Please do not send requests for links, endorsements or to be featured on this site.
